A renowned journalist in the beauty industry, Aurelie Lambillon Over the years, she has established herself as one of the most attentive and influential voices in the French women's press. Former beauty editor of the magazine Marie ClaireShe has long observed and analyzed developments in the sector: cosmetic innovations, new approaches to care and the emergence of unique brands.

Always curious about new beauty brands, she was among the first journalists to talk about La Reine Capricieuseidentifying the brand's identity and universe very early on.

There is three yearsShe also honored us with her presence during the Parisian launch party for La Reine Capricieuse, a pivotal moment for our brand. Her presence, her kind gaze, and the interest she showed in our approach accompanied the first steps of this adventure. 1 – You have been observing the evolution of the beauty world for many years. In your opinion, what are the major transformations that are currently shaping the world of skincare?

“Consumer habits have changed dramatically. The days of being attached to a brand (often Mom's) for life are over. Between small, highly personal independent labels and major new foreign players—I'm thinking particularly of the K-Beauty phenomenon—the supply has multiplied, thus eroding consumer loyalty. Products designed for specific routines also seem less relevant to attracting consumers today who are looking for situational solutions (waking up, going to the gym, etc.). Finally, skincare now needs to cater to very diverse profiles and groups (high-tech, holistic, green), knowing that the same person can define themselves as a holistic beauty enthusiast while also loving enhanced cosmetics!”

2 – You have discovered and supported many brands throughout your career.
What is it about a young beauty brand that particularly catches your eye?

“Anything that sparks my curiosity: incredible formulations, delightful fragrances, rigorous formulas, beautiful packaging, innovative techniques. Of course, effectiveness and results must be there. I can also be captivated by the person who founded it, the strength of their message, their contagious passion, the power of their convictions. I am very sensitive to energies and I am convinced that some people have the power to sweep you away in their projects – while others less so.”

3 – You discovered La Reine Capricieuse at its beginnings and you told us how much the brand touched you.
What, in your opinion, distinguishes La Reine Capricieuse in the current beauty landscape?

“I partly answer that in question two! Here, the story is captivating from beginning to end. Nothing was left to chance in building the brand, which is incredibly coherent. Alexandre knew how to establish La Reine Capricieuse in the realm of French luxury craftsmanship. From noble active ingredients (sourced in particular from Vosges beekeeping), powerful and renowned for their effectiveness, to refined bottles and melting textures, it's a treat for both skin and eyes.”
